Over the past few weeks a large share of our incoming enquiries have carried the same requirement: delivery in early November, or by the end of November 2026. Brands are locking in holiday gift assortments, Black Friday promotions and Christmas retail slots — and suddenly the question is no longer "what does it cost", it is "can you still get it to me in time".

If your target date is already out of reach, the next realistic window is production for Q1 2027 — worth planning now, because Chinese New Year falls on 6 February 2027 and factories typically shut for several weeks around it.
What We Cannot Rush
We would rather tell you this now than take the order and miss your date. There are three things that reliably break a November schedule:
- Custom retail packaging. This is the most common reason a holiday order slips. Boxes, pouches, inserts and printed cards do not exist until they are made from your artwork and die, so there is no stock to draw on, and the tool MOQ of 100 pcs does not carry over — packaging starts at MOQ 500 pcs per design. Packaging lead time runs in parallel with — and often longer than — the tool itself. If your launch depends on a custom box, schedule the packaging first.
- Shapes and materials that are not in our stock list. These need the full 15–20 day production window before they can be branded or shipped, no matter how small the quantity.
- A second logo colour, or an extra print position. Each additional colour or position needs its own plate or artwork program, which means a separate production step. If your date is tight, keep the first order to one colour in one position and expand on the re-order.
Small Batches, Volume Orders, and Branding Cost
- Private label MOQ: 100 pcs per shape and per colour. Small enough to test a launch without committing your whole budget. Counted per tool — an assortment of three shapes means three minimums, not one.
- Trial batch first, volume second. Start with a single shape to validate sell-through, then scale the same artwork to a larger run. Because the branding program stays on file, the re-order repeats no one-time cost.
- Branding on stock tools: 5–7 working days. Laser engraving on in-stock stainless steel and stone runs roughly 5–7 working days from artwork approval to dispatch — the tool never leaves the warehouse to be produced, it only waits for its turn at the machine.
- Volume pricing scales with quantity. We publish no fixed unit prices because material, finish and quantity all move the number. Send your target quantity and target landed cost and we will quote against it.
- Branding: laser engraving from MOQ 100 pcs with a one-time machine setup fee of around $20 on stainless steel; silk screen or pad printing for stone tools with a one-time copper plate fee of roughly $45–50, kept on file. Engraving 100 pieces is roughly an hour of machine time, but the job still has to be scheduled into the queue behind other orders. Why can't custom packaging be rushed?
Because it does not exist until it is made. Retail boxes, pouches and inserts are produced to order from your artwork and cutting die, they start at MOQ 500 pcs per design — five times the minimum on the tools themselves — and there is no stock to pull from. Packaging is always the longest pole in a private label project. If you need a branded box for the holidays, order it before — or alongside — the tools.
Can I order a small batch now and a large batch later?
Yes, and it is the approach we recommend for a first holiday season. A trial batch at MOQ 100 pcs on one shape validates sell-through with low risk; the same artwork then scales to a larger run.
